The condo offers all the amenities of home including a 55 inch Roku TV, secure internet, washer/dryer & a fully stocked kitchen. The condo is configured for working remotely or for temporary lodging. There is ample room at the bar height kitchen table for a laptop & the coffee table expands to a workstation.
The Palms at Cove View is resort-style living in a quiet, desirable neighborhood. The Palms offers lush tropical landscaping, a sparkling pool with sundeck, soothing waterfall, gazebo, fitness room, clubhouse & shared charcoal grills.
The condo is perfectly situated within The Palms at Cove View community overlooking the sparkling pool & waterfall. It’s within steps to the office, clubhouse, fitness room, garbage dumpster, & mailbox.
A private vehicle is recommended for ease of use on getting around on Galveston Island. All tourist attractions & destinations are within a 10-minute drive from The Palms at Cove View. You have the choice of using Seawall Boulevard or Stewart Road. The condo is 3 miles to Schlitterbahn Water Park, 3.5 miles to Moody Gardens, 6 miles to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, and 7.5 miles to the Strand Historic District.

Weseazatt View Condo has an additional cleaning fee of $150 for stays of 30 nights or more. There is no 15% lodging tax on stays of 30 nights or more.

Check-Out Time: 11:00 a.m. CST (late check-out allowed only with previous approval)
No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the condo and will result in the forfeit of the $200 deposit.
Pets: Sorry, we are not pet friendly. Pets in the condo will result in the forfeit of the $200 deposit.
Security Deposit: A security deposit of $200 is automatically placed 20 days before the arrival date using the guest’s credit card on file. The hold will be automatically released 7 days after departure.
Payment: Payment in full 30 days prior to the arrival date. Payments can be made by PayPal or personal check. Personal check is preferred and can be made out to Cathleen T. Caszatt. A 2.5% discount will be given on the total amount when paying by check. Payments not received on the due date will result in a cancellation of this rental contract. Owner will pay credit card fees.
Deposit: The deposit will be returned if cancelled 30 days prior to arrival date. The deposit will not be returned if cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.
Rent: The rent will not be returned if a cancellation occurs less than 30 days of your arrival date; however, the tax and cleaning fee will be returned. The Owners will make every attempt to rebook the reservation for the exact dates and the same rate. If the reservation is rebooked at the exact dates and the same rate, 85% of the rent will be refunded. If the deposit and/or rent (including taxes and cleaning fee) were paid on a credit card, a 3% fee will apply before any refunds are given.
Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to four (4) guests for Seazatt View Condo, Iseazatt View Condo, and Useazatt View Condo, and two (2) guests for Weseazatt View Condo. No exceptions will be made. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, there will be a fee of $30/per person/per day. A (3) night minimum stay is required during peak periods.
Parking: All guests will be required to purchase a parking pass for parking at all condo locations. Seazatt View and Useazatt View condos located at By the Sea Condominiums require the guest to purchase a $17 parking pass per stay with two (2) vehicles permitted per condo. The parking passes are purchased upon arrival. No cash payments, only credit or debit cards allowed.
Iseazatt View Condo located at the Maravilla Resort Condominiums require the guest to purchase a $10 parking pass per day (plus tax). This amount is capped at $70. Two vehicles are permitted per condo. The parking passes are purchased upon arrival. No cash payments, only credit or debit cards allowed.
Weseazatt View Condo located at The Palms at Cove View Condominiums does not require a parking pass. One vehicle is permitted. Per the Palms at Cove View HOA rules, the guest vehicle license plate number, make, color, and model of your vehicle needs to be provided to the office prior to the arrival date, in addition to a copy of a valid state identification.
Hurricane or Storm Policy: Refunds will not be given for weather unless: The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuation for a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” for Galveston County, TX. On the day of this mandatory evacuation, we will refund: any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered, any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive and wants to shorten their stay to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted, and any advance rents collected for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the “Hurricane Warning” period.
